Mike Huckabee and Save Our Nation's Jay Cole

I stumbled across Jay Cole's Save Our Nation in connection with the pardon of Wayne Dumond by then Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Tristero via Digby's Hullabaloo has collected plenty on the pardon, plus other facets of Huckabee's long, strange trip. The Murray Waas reporting on the Dumond pardon from way back in the day is classic investigative journalism.

Running a search on the internets via the Google sent me to yesterday's Washington Monthly piece The Real Mike Huckabee by Max Blumenthal. Some scary stuff here folks, especially if Mr. Cole is actually BFF with Huck. If in fact Mr. Cole is such good friends with the Huckster then the saying of "with friends like these ..." surely applies. The same goes for another Huck backer named John Hagee, another wingnut I've posted on before. Sheesh!

I'll be interested in how Huck's handlers handle Hagee and Mr. Cole and ... P/W
