Mike Huckabee currently has the loopiest tax proposal on the table, a 30% national sales tax that he supports because he read a book about it once and thought it sounded kinda neat. It's unworkable, hugely regressive, wouldn't raise half the money Huckabee thinks it would, and would create an underground economy so massive it would make the old Soviet Union look efficient.And we can't leave off Huck's use of Common Sense Issues to engage in massive push polling in various states about to have their primaries. Add to the fundy take on evolution and the like and Mike's looking like just another wingnut. P/W
Nearly 50 years in east Alabama, a surname going back to Vikings invading Scotland, and finally too much religious fundamentalism coupled to reactionary radicalism motivates me.
