Speaking Ill of the Dead ... and the Dumb

There's Dubyah on the left and Milton Friedman on the right. Milton left this earth in late 2006. I'm thinking he didn't have to wait in line if there's a hell given the death and destruction his economic policies caused. This is especially so in places like the Southern Cone, Indonesia, ... And dare I write Iraq?

A report came out today on research that indicates 150,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed as Iraq has been "freed". Here's some language in the WaPo/MSNBC reporting of Thomas Ricks and Karen DeYoung that I noted:
The U.S. occupation authority initially envisioned a free-market paradise for Iraq, with flat taxes and a state-of-the-art stock exchange. Its successors lowered their expectations, seeking a westernized, relatively corruption-free system, gently trying to wrest the economy away from state ownership.
My reading of Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine continues. This book is AMAZING! More to follow as time allows. And I'll be dogging on Uncle Milton and his disciples plenty more. And Bu$hCo will get their share as well. P/W
