The feds have arrested Representative Sue Schmitz (D-Toney) in connection with the continuing Alabama's JuCo scandals. The four mail fraud and four just plain vanilla fraud counts to the indictment allege Ms. Schmitz failed to do much, if any, work on a $177,251 deal for "the Community Intensive Treatment for Youth Skills Training Consortium, or CITY program". If this is that outfit I guess they needed help with efforts "to coordinate community and external affairs for the CITY program". Brett Blackledge of the B'ham News had reported on Ms. Schmitz' questionable work way back in March. Note that she copied her responses when seemingly appropriately questioned to Dr. Paul Hubbert of AEA. Reckon why? P/W
