Plan B for Sonny - Sending half of ATL back North

If Georgia Governor Purdue's praying for rain doesn't deliver maybe he'll issue deportation orders? He could send the Yankee carpetbaggers home. For the record, this is in jest. What has me pondering this angle is an Edward McClelland piece in Salon (free via a pass) titled How to solve America's water problems. He reminds us that the population shift from up North down South, and out West, has caused at least part of the problem. I'll take exception to the idea that Atlanta straddles the eastern continental divide as nearly all her, and more importantly our, water flows to the Gulf but otherwise he does a fine job. P/W
