Thursday's Outlander of the Day ~ Former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan

Travelling at the end of the week has me just today naming Thursday's Outlander of the Day. Above we see The Maestro with his lovely wife Andrea Mitchell, Monday's Outlander. Digby serves up a skewering of the former Chairman for his remarks at a Treasury Department conference. Greenspan is quoted as suggesting one way of narrowing the income gap is to loosen immigration rules so as to bring in cheaper talent. Good Grief Mr. G! Bringing down the middle class is hardly rewarding folks that have played by the rules and gotten their education. Of course you and the bride are hardly worried about payng the bills I'm sure. "Out of touch" is I fear too kind. Mr. Greenspan also bounces around looming concerns from the sub-prime mortgage industry, something that I've posted on previously. Digby sends us to Kevin Drum and upon clicking through and pondering his work I'm even more terrified. Peace ... or War!
