Liebling.If more consolidation does occur, and it is already rather scary, then getting generally accurate information to and from citizens could fully be a relic of the past. The internet, with its limitations and possibilities for abuse/misinformation, is perhaps the last truly "free" press venue in that the Big Mules now control so many outlets. Big multi-nationals and other powerful corporations have the GOP controlling all three branches now, although things are looking a little tippy for their future (even though it would still be at worst Republican Lite I fear!). If the Big Mules have designs on more power, and surely they do, then now is the time they'll try to stack the deck in their favor. Peace ... or War!
Nearly 50 years in east Alabama, a surname going back to Vikings invading Scotland, and finally too much religious fundamentalism coupled to reactionary radicalism motivates me. I'll share (rarely as of late) my ideas on politics, learning, ... My clan supposedly uses "Peace ... or War!" Maybe those genes compel me to join issue?
