I've long wanted to tackle Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq by Thomas Ricks of the WaPo yet I only finished the thing last night. Well done! Thomas Ricks remains one of the go to guys on the military and especially Iraq as demonstrated by this E&P piece and this NPR effort. His indictment of Bu$hCo and some of the military "leaders" is thorough and well written. "Fiasco" seems too kind. Peace ... or War!

I've long wanted to tackle Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq by Thomas Ricks of the WaPo yet I only finished the thing last night. Well done! Thomas Ricks remains one of the go to guys on the military and especially Iraq as demonstrated by this E&P piece and this NPR effort.
