Halimah Abdullah of McClatchy on NCLB

I am often asked why I left teaching. Calvin gives me one answer. Where I've wound up for the next five years is certainly a larger part of the question. Still, one large reason I'm here is Bu$hCo's No Child Left Behind. I like the reporting of Halimah Abdullah of McClatchy on NCLB as a summary of where things stand now up in DC on this bizarrely flawed approach to learning. I'd missed this story yet kudos to David Wasserman for being a “conscientious objector” during this year's testing in Wisconsin. I'd have likely gone ahead and administered the test under protest if I'd have been in his shoes yet admittedly Wasserman got some coverage that I'd have not received. Peace ... or War!
