Wall Street Showing Our Candidates Some Love

Although employees and others involved with Wall Street investment banks have every right to donate money to Presidential candidates, making sure the public knows of their financial support is part of good journalism. Greg Gordon of McClatchy reveals the numbers. Well done! Given the sub-prime meltdown and the rising frustrations with "Capitalists Gone Wild" I do expect the fatcats want favors owed. Looks like they are hedging their bets.

To examine how the Wall Street crowd shares the love with those in Congress would be something I'd love to see in some of the media. The information is out there but transferring it to the masses takes some work. And we know unfortunately many journalist and their corporate masters aren't inclined to follow that story. P/W
